We offer free shipping on all orders to the continental United States.
As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system and charged your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is available for shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable we will reach out to you via email and you will decide whether to wait for the item to become available or cancel your order.
When you place an order with us our goal is to get it to you as fast as possible. Since we work in collaboration with multiple aquarium manufacturers, the lead time for your order varies depending on the manufacturer of the product. Please read the shipping policy that applies to your product by clicking on "Shipping & Returns" tab on the product detail page of the product you are interested in.
Some products, particularly our larger fish tanks, are often made to order by the manufacturer. These products will say "made to order" on the product detail page and usually have longer delivery times than products that are in stock and ready to ship. More detail about shipping and lead times for your specific product can be found in the "Shipping & Returns" tab on the product detail pages.
Once your order has shipped, you can expect a transit time of 2-5 business days before it's ready to be delivered.
We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provide at checkout.
We ship your order using the fastest and most reliable method. Generally, smaller packages ship via FedEx or UPS. Larger, heavier packages ship via a truck freight carrier (e.g. Pilot Freight, Yellow Freight, Roadway, FedEx Freight).

We encourage you to track your package online or on the phone with the carrier. Most companies can provide an estimated delivery date. Be sure to contact us if anything seems unusual with the progress of the shipment.

Depending on the product, delivery times range from 3-21 business days of your order, and in rare cases longer than 21 business days. Some of our larger aquariums are made to order by our suppliers and can take 3-5 weeks to manufacture. Please note that we cannot guarantee manufacturing time or the time that will take FedEx, UPS or a truck freight carrier to deliver your package.
We do not issue cancellations or refunds based on delivery time. Please order early to avoid disappointment.
FedEx & UPS Shipments:
Smaller packages ship via FedEx or UPS. Your item should arrive 2-5 business days after shipment. FedEx and UPS do not typically require a signature and will leave the package in a suitable place near your door.
FedEx Damage: Please take a picture of the damage and notify us within 24 hours of delivery at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Freight Truck Carrier Shipments:
Larger, heavier packages ship via freight carrier. As defined by the trucking industry, Home Delivery means "curbside delivery" in a residential area. You may need assistance to move the package indoors or you might unbox the shipment and carry each piece inside individually. Some drivers may assist in getting a shipment into a garage or carport.
For Truck Freight shipments, delivery usually takes 3-7 business days from date of shipment. When your shipment arrives at a nearby terminal, you will be contacted by the freight carrier to schedule a delivery appointment. Most companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
"NOTE: The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that when you sign for the delivery you are legally accepting the product as delivered in good condition. Therefore, it is extremely important that you inspect the product prior to signing the delivery receipt. If there is damage to the carton or the product, please write "CONTENTS DAMAGED" clearly on the delivery receipt that the driver is asking you to sign, then sign. This insures that your damage issue will be easily resolved."

Receiving Your Shipment:
We are committed to making sure you are satisfied with our products. Your order is inspected prior to shipment to ensure all items are in excellent condition before they leave our facilities. Although our products are packaged securely to prevent any damage, it's possible that in rare cases, damages may occur during shipment.
Before signing for the shipment, inspect the carton and contents. You should have a knife, hammer, pry bar and wire cutters on hand to help open the carton. Should you notice any damage, please note it on the bill of lading, refuse the shipment and contact us immediately.
NOTE: We cannot be held responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged items if there is no notation on the freight delivery receipt.
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage you should make note on the delivery receipt “CARTON DAMAGED” when signing for delivery. If your item(s) arrived damaged please send photos to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. For details please refer to our Return Policy.

Cancellations & Returns:
If you need to cancel your order you are welcome to do so within 48 hours of when the order was placed. Since many of our products are made to order, we are unable to cancel orders after 48 hours. In some cases we can make exceptions and cancel your order after 48 hours, but it is subject to a 10% cancellation fee. The 48 hours timeline also includes if we notify you of the new availability date if the product was out of stock and you don't cancel within 48 hours after this notification.
If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
